The company will present its latest 3D laser profilers alongside local partner Vision Advisor, with a focus on live automotive inspection demonstrations at Stand D537 in Hall 2.
Advanced Factories is Europe's leading event for automation, industrial robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies. Live Demonstrations of Real-World Automotive Applications
Visitors to Stand D537 will see working demonstrations of SinceVision sensor technology solving specific, documented inspection challenges across automotive production lines. The company will feature four application scenarios that represent common pain points in the industry:
1. Tire Character OCR and Tread Inspection
Using the SRI7400R 3D Laser Profiler, SinceVision demonstrates full tire surface scanning with rotational imaging that eliminates blind spots on curved sidewalls. The system uses a 650 nm red laser optimized for low-reflectivity black rubber and completes full inspection of a 19-inch tire in approximately 0.48 seconds. The solution reads raised sidewall characters and measures tread depth in a single pass, supporting both manufacturing quality control and logistics traceability.
2. Connector Pin Height Detection
The SRI8060 3D Laser Profiler inspects pin arrays for missing, broken, or misaligned pins before automotive connector insertion. Mounted in a mirror angle configuration to access deep frame openings, the system achieves height difference repeatability of 0.015 mm and completes detection in 1.5 seconds. The 3200-point profile density ensures clear reproduction of fine pin tips.

3. Car Door Gap and Flush Measurement
The SRI7140 Integrated 3D Laser Profiler addresses the limitations of manual gap and flush inspection with robotic integration. The system delivers 0.015 mm flushness precision and 0.09 mm gap precision at scanning rates up to 20 kHz. Its compact design saves 50 percent of installation space, allowing collision-free robotic arm deployment with a 140 mm working distance and 88 mm Z-axis field of view.
4. LiDAR Frame Glue Detection
Demonstrating ultra-fine repeatability, this application achieves 0.0081 mm maximum static repeatability with 3500 Hz high-speed sampling. The 17.7 mm depth of field and 56 mm per second scanning speed enable clear glue bead imaging across the frame surface.
Technical Capabilities of the SR and SRI Series
SinceVision's SR and SRI series 3D laser profilers offer X-axis contour point resolution up to 6400 points, Z-axis linearity of ±0.02 percent of full scale, and scanning speeds reaching 67 kHz. These specifications support high-throughput inspection across a wide range of automotive component geometries and surface conditions. The company will also display complementary sensing technologies including high-speed cameras, laser displacement sensors, full-spectrum sensors, and through-beam edge sensors.
