SinceVision Launches SRI6000 Series Embedded Vision 3D Laser Profilers at VISION 2026
At the VISION 2026 exhibition in Stuttgart Germany, SinceVision announced the global commercial release of the SRI6000 Series embedded vision 3D laser profilers. The premiere unit, model SRI6480, eliminates external controllers by deploying an on board 8 core CPU and dedicated Neural Processing Unit. The sensor executes SinceVision proprietary adaptive Contour Extraction Algorithm natively at line rates up to 10000 Hz, outputting calibrated measurement data directly via TCP/IP and Modbus RTU.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
STUTTGART, Germany — October 6, 2026 — SinceVision, a manufacturer of industrial vision, industrial sensors, and scientific cameras has announced today the global commercial release of the SRI6000 Series 3D laser profiler portfolio, led by the flagship SRI6480 sensor, at the VISION 2026 trade fair in Stuttgart Germany. The SRI6000 Series represents the official debut of embedded vision architecture within the SinceVision 3D inspection lineup, removing the requirement for external control units or separate industrial PCs.
"By running adaptive Contour Extraction Algorithm natively on the device, we are providing integrators with a true one-stop solution. The SRI6480 delivers exceptional imaging quality and immediate depth data without the friction of external hardware."

Edge Processing Without External Hardware
The SRI6480 consolidates optical sensing and computational processing within a single 197 by 80 by 50 mm housing. The sensor architecture integrates an internal image processing module, an 8 core CPU, and a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU).
By pairing the CPU with a parallel multiply accumulate array inside the NPU, the profiler executes the SinceVision adaptive Contour Extraction Algorithm on board. The sensor analyzes raw surface features, extracts profile coordinates, and performs measurement evaluations locally. Calibrated coordinate values, step heights, and defect flags transmit directly to factory programmable logic controllers via TCP/IP or Modbus RTU protocols.
High Speed Industrial Metrology Specifications
Engineered for continuous production lines, the SRI6480 achieves profile acquisition speeds ranging from 750 Hz to 10000 Hz.
Contour Resolution: 3200 points per profile along the X axis with a 65 μm contour data interval.
Measurement Range: Reference distance of 480 mm, Z axis height of 376 mm, and X axis width of 217 mm.
Accuracy Benchmarks: Z axis linearity of plus or minus 0.02 percent of full scale, with step height accuracy of 0.03 mm and flatness repeatability of 0.04 mm on machined surfaces moving at velocities exceeding 200 mm per second.
Optical Versatility for Challenging Surfaces
To accommodate broad surface variations across discrete manufacturing, the SRI6480 provides optional 405 nm blue light and 650 nm red light laser configurations. The blue laser configuration targets specular reflection on polished metals, machined aluminum, and translucent polymers. The red laser configuration provides stable light return on low reflectivity targets, such as dark tire compounds, raw lumber, and refractory materials.
"Automated production facility no longer have room for complex cabling runs and oversized electrical control cabinets," said Kevin Cheng, Europe Sales Director at SinceVision. "The SRI6480 delivers metrology grade 3D point cloud generation directly at the sensor head. Integrators receive fully processed dimension results without dedicating PC processing overhead to raw image reconstruction."
Target Applications and Production Deployment
The SRI6480 is fully optimized for immediate integration across core industrial sectors:
Automotive Manufacturing: In line flatness and defect profiling for brake friction pads, steering wheel trim molding, and precision CNC components.
Tire and Rubber: High speed 3D extrusion contour verification, continuous splice joint inspection, and automated sidewall DOT code recognition.
Wood Processing: High throughput contour dimensioning for logs and wood based panels, capable of resolving localized surface flaws down to 0.6 by 0.6 by 0.4 mm.
Footwear Automation: Automated sole adhesive dispensing path guidance utilizing adaptive edge tracking algorithms.
Live Demonstrations at VISION 2026
The SRI6480 is available for global commercial ordering starting today. Live inline measurement demonstrations will run throughout VISION 2026 from October 6 to 8 at Messe Stuttgart in Hall 8, Booth 8A30. Technical datasheets, CAD dimensional models, and evaluation unit booking forms are available on the official SinceVision website.
