SinceVision Launches Solis B0555 PRO sCMOS Camera for Ultra-Low-Light Single-Photon Imaging
SinceVision has announced the Solis B0555 PRO, a next-generation back-illuminated sCMOS camera engineered for ultra-low-light and single-photon imaging. The camera introduces a groundbreaking 0.29e⁻ RMS readout noise mode alongside a vacuum-sealed cooling structure that limits dark current to 0.002 e⁻/pixel/s.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SHENZHEN, China – May 12, 2026 – SinceVision, a manufacturer of advanced scientific imaging systems, today announced the launch of the Solis B0555 PRO sCMOS camera. Built on a next-generation back-illuminated sensor, the camera is engineered specifically for researchers and engineers working in ultra-low-light imaging, quantum optics, and high-speed scientific observation.
The Solis B0555 PRO addresses the traditional limitations of weak signal detection by delivering a groundbreaking 0.29e⁻ RMS readout noise in Ultra-Low Noise mode—a 74% reduction compared to previous-generation models. This enables imaging performance approaching single-photoelectron detection without the excess noise typical of traditional EMCCD systems.
To ensure long-term image stability, the camera features a deep-cooling vacuum-sealed structure that achieves a temperature difference of up to 55°C, dropping dark current to just 0.002 e⁻/pixel/s at -30°C. Additionally, it supports full-frame 240 fps high-speed acquisition in global shutter mode, making it ideal for tracking rapid physical changes in microscopy, semiconductor inspection, and astronomical observation.

"The Solis B0555 PRO represents a major leap forward for photon-limited applications," said Arthur Wang, Product Manager of Scientific Camera at SinceVision. "By pairing an ultra-low 0.29 e⁻ read noise with a high-speed 240 fps global shutter, we are breaking the traditional compromise between speed and sensitivity. This camera provides the data consistency and structural stability required for demanding tasks, from single-molecule observation in laboratories to high-volume Micro-LED wafer inspection on production lines."
Key Specifications Include:
Readout Noise: 0.29e⁻ RMS (Ultra-Low Noise Mode)
Cooling & Stability: Vacuum sealed (≤10⁻⁹ Pa·m³/s); dark current 0.002 e⁻/pixel/s
Speed: Up to 240 fps full-frame in global shutter mode
Connectivity: Dual USB 3.1 and CXP-12 Over Fiber-4 (up to 40 Gbps bandwidth)
