SinceVision to Showcase Advanced 3D Laser Profiling Solutions at Automate Show 2025, USA

DETROIT, MI – SinceVision, a leading innovator in machine vision technology, will exhibit at Automate Show 2025, the largest robotics and automation event in the Americas, from May 12-15, 2025, at Huntington Place in Detroit, Michigan. The company will collaborate with its partner, Saber 1 Technologies LLC, a prominent machine vision supplier, to present SinceVision’s latest advancements in 3D laser profiling.

At Booth 20, Hall A, SinceVision will showcase its SR8060H and SRI7140 3D laser profilers, demonstrating their capabilities in demanding industrial applications. A key highlight will be a demonstration of SinceVision's solutions for lithium battery solder joint and appearance inspection.

The inspection of lithium batteries presents critical manufacturing challenges. As battery production increases, ensuring the quality and safety of each cell becomes paramount. Traditional methods often fall short in detecting subtle but crucial defects. SinceVision's technology addresses these challenges head-on.

The demonstration will focus on two key areas:

Lithium Battery Solder Joint Inspection: The SinceVision SR8060H, with an accuracy of up to 4μm, is designed to detect defects such as pits, blow holes, and cold soldering on the top cover welds of square power batteries. This ensures the structural integrity and performance of the battery.

Lithium Battery Appearance Inspection: The SinceVision SRI7140 is used for comprehensive inspection of battery casings. With a detection accuracy of 0.01mm, it identifies defects like dents and protrusions. The system simultaneously extracts length, width, and height, and features a sampling frequency of up to 10 kHz, enabling stable scanning on high-speed production lines. This prevents defective products from moving forward in the manufacturing process, mitigating the risk of short circuits or fires.
